NB: While my therapeutic approach is rooted in the experiential—focusing on understanding the lived experience behind human distress—I have used diagnostic terms here for ease of communication. These terms are part of the broader societal and medical lexicon, and I recognise that they can help people identify their concerns. However, my work remains focused on the individual’s experience and the human processes rather than labels or diagnoses.

Are you trauma-informed?
Yes. I work in a trauma-informed way. This means that I will always strive to co-create an environment of safety and trust with you, holding the safe space and whatever you bring. Additionally, I am informed by Polyvagal Theory, which means I have an understanding of how trauma effects the body accounting for your whole being - the body-mind connection, as well as your environment. We will go at your pace, not mine, being sensitive to your unique circumstances, needs and experiences.

Fees and Session Length?
Finding a therapist with whom you can feel at ease is important. I usually offer an initial consultation free of charge typically lasting around 20 to 30 minutes, but this may be longer depending on circumstance.

Individual Therapy are 50 minutes long and charged at £90.00 - financial concession are limited but may be possible subject to available slots.
Relationship Therapy There is an increased cost that accounts for the increased complexity of working with relationships of two or more individuals and the time required to appropriately accommodate the needs of multiple individuals. Please contact me directly for details.

What if I am unable to make it?
I understand that there are moments when life’s circumstances make it difficult to attend therapy, and that’s entirely natural. However, I ask that we approach this with mutual respect and consideration for one another. As your therapist, I am committed to holding a consistent, safe space for your exploration, and our time together is an important part of that process.

At times, it may feel that your personal situation is serious enough to warrant missing a session. I fully respect that life can present challenges, and no judgement will be made. Yet, it’s worth weighing up the significance of our time together. How valuable is this space for you, and what priority does your commitment to therapy hold in your life?

In private practice, there are also practical factors to consider, including the financial aspects of missed sessions. While I want to be as flexible as possible, it would not be professional or sustainable for me to offer unlimited cancellations. Finding a balance between respecting your needs and the structure of our work together is key to ensuring therapy remains beneficial for you.

What if it doesn't feel right?
If we decide that something isn't quite right, perhaps a felt sense or something more tangible, that's OK. While we may not click with everyone we meet in life, there will be others with whom we absolutely do, but often relationships of any kind require some level of working together, building upon trust and mutual respect.
However, if things just don't feel 'right', then we may collaboratively seek out what the next appropriate steps for you may be. It is important to emphasise that at every moment, this is a collaborative effort, as such your communication, however loud or inaudible is important and valued as equal to my own.

Where do you work?
I work within both the NHS and Private practice. For Private Practice work I am located in Central London, Russell Square, at Harvest Therapy Bloomsbury, and North London, Finchley, at North London Therapy Practice.

I thought this was Embark Therapy UK, not Harvest Therapy or North London Therapy Practice, so which is it?
Embark Therapy UK is my independent private practice. Harvest Therapy Bloomsbury, like, North London Therapy Practice is a community of therapists that provides a network of support for professionals across an area of London. While I rent rooms and benefit from the community, I am self-employed and work independently with my own clients.

Do you work for Harvest or NLTP?
No. Like other therapists in the practice community, I operate my own private practice. NLTP and HTB helps match clients with therapists and facilitates the first session, but after that, all contact and payments are directly with us. Of course, you’re very welcome to contact me directly, either by phone, the contact form on this website, or the directories listed.

How does this benefit you and I?
As a qualified and experienced therapist, I offer personalised, high-quality care, backed by access to both Harvest and North London’s network of professionals. These networks help me stay connected to the latest developments and provides additional support when needed, but my primary focus is on offering you the care and support you need.
However you found me, you can feel confident in my ability to support you throughout your therapy journey. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.
